Shrimp industry, the pillar and characteristic industry in Zhanjiang, has formed obvious size effect. Under
the new market environment, however, the competitive advantages confronted many challenges. Based on the systematical
analysis in industrial status, several key obstacles restricted the industry development were thoroughly investigated from the
enterprise framework and outer business environment. Then the integrated innovations from many parts including science
and technology, management and service were put forward to enhance the product core competence in quality, cost, and
brand. Meanwhile, the service function of government, bank and trade association could be innovated and perfected,
resulting in a fair and easily available competition environment. By these, we can improve the core competitiveness from
product advantage to industry advantage, and promote the private economy in Zhanjiang. |
