【目的】随着农民收入水平的提高,稻农的需求从“吃得饱”向“吃得好”转变,优质稻品种的采用逐渐成为提升稻米生产效益和满足市场需求的重要途径。【方法】基于农户行为理论,构建稻农优质品种采用行为影响因素的理论分析框架,通过对2021—2022年广东省水稻种植户的调研数据,采用二元Probit模型等分析方法,分析经营方式、经营规模与非农劳动收入对稻农优质稻品种选择行为的影响及其异质性。【结果】研究表明:第一,自给型和效益型稻农的优质品种采用行为具有差异,效益型稻农更倾向于选择优质稻品种;第二,经营规模和非农收入显著影响效益型和自给型农户的优质稻选择行为,分别在1%和5%统计水平正向显著,效益型稻农受经营规模影响较大,而自给型稻农则受非农收入驱动;第三,经营规模在经营方式与优质稻品种选择行为之间具有显著的调节作用,且在10%的统计水平正向显著,当稻农的经营方式从自给型转变为效益型时,经营规模对优质稻品种选择的影响增强;第四,经营规模对优质稻品种选择存在门槛效应。经营规模小于0.58公顷时,经营方式显著影响品种选择;超过0.58公顷后,经营方式影响减弱;第五,不同收入水平下,非农收入对优质稻品种选择的影响在低收入和高收入组中都较为显著,但作用机制不同,高收入组更依赖经营规模扩大,低收入组则更多受非农收入变化的影响。【结论】为提高稻农优质稻品种的采用率,本研究提出以下政策建议:首先,提升和稳定优质稻品种的品质,降低生产成本,提高规模户优质品种采用的积极性;其次,支持优质稻品牌建设,凸显优质稻品种的价格优势,提高优质品种市场竞争力;最后,加强推动优质稻品种和种植技术推广,提升农户对优质稻品种的认知和接受度。 |

【Objective】With the improvement of farmers' income levels, the demand of rice farmers has shifted from "having enough to eat" to "eating well." The adoption of high-quality rice varieties has gradually become an important approach to improving rice production efficiency and meeting market demand.【Method】Based on the theory of farmer behavior, this study constructs a theoretical framework to analyze the factors influencing rice farmers' adoption of high-quality rice varieties. Using survey data collected from rice farmers in Guangdong Province during 2021–2022, binary Probit models and other analytical methods are employed to examine the effects of rice management practices, farm size, and non-farm income on farmers' adoption behavior and its heterogeneity.【Result】The findings reveal the following: First, significant differences exist in the adoption behavior of high-quality rice varieties between subsistence-oriented type and profit-oriented type rice farmers , with profit-oriented type farmers being more inclined to adopt high-quality rice varieties. Second, operational scale and non-farm income significantly influence the choice of high-quality rice varieties for both profit-oriented type and subsistence-oriented type farmers, significant positively at the 1% and 5% statistical levels, respectively, profit-oriented type farmers are primarily influenced by scale, while security type farmers are more driven by non-farm income. Third, scale of operation has a significant positive moderating effect on the relationship between the Management practices and the adoption of high-quality rice varieties, which is significant at the 10% statistical level. When farmers' management practices shifts from subsistence-oriented type to profit-oriented type, the effect of farm size on the adoption of high-quality rice varieties is significantly enhanced. Fourth, there is a threshold effect of farm size on the selection of high-quality rice varieties. When the operation scale is less than 0.58 hectares, the farming purpose significantly affects the variety choice. However, when the scale exceeds 0.58 hectares , the impact of farming purpose weakens. Fifth, non-farm income has a significant impact on the adoption of high-quality rice varieties in both low-income and high-income groups, but the mechanisms differ: high-income farmers rely more on farm size expansion, while low-income farmers are more influenced by changes in non-farm income.【Conclusion】To increase the adoption rate of high-quality rice varieties among rice farmers, this study proposes the following policy recommendations: First, improve and stabilize the quality of high-quality rice varieties, reduce production costs, and enhance the enthusiasm of large-scale farmers in adopting high-quality rice varieties. Second, support the development of high-quality rice brands, highlight the price advantage of high-quality rice varieties, and enhance the market competitiveness of these varieties. Third, strengthen the promotion of high-quality rice varieties and planting technologies to improve farmers' awareness and acceptance of high-quality rice varieties. |
