Using foam board with poles as planting plate, the effects of rice on floating beds on nitrogen and phosphorus removal were studied in sewages of three different concentrations. The results showed that rice爷s removal rates of TN in low, middle, high concentration sewages were 54.5%, 71.0%, 66.3%, respectively. The removal rates of NH4+-N in low, middle, high concentration sewages were 67.2%,75.6%, 72.7%, respectively. The removal rates of TP in low, middle, high concentration sewages were 69.4%, 72.3%, 55.1%. Rice showed the best removal rate of TN, NH4+-N, and TP for middle concentration sewage, which were higher than 70%. It indicated taht rice could be used for biological/ecological rehabilitation of damaged water bodies. |
