| In order to understand the characteristics and prolificacy of new sugarcan varieties (Guitang 31, 32, 34 ) and provide the basis data for application in the production, a variety comparative test was conducted on two years new plant and 2 years ratoons crops from 2009 to 2011. The results showed that Guitang 31, 32, 34 was reached 21.4~129.0 t/hm2 by yield and higher than the contrast ROC22 by 8.2%~15%,with significant different of 1%~5%; The sugar yield of Guitang 31, 32, 34 were got 19.03~19.27 t/hm2, increased than ROC22 with 11.4%~13.2%; Guitang 31, 32, 34 were reached 14.86%by average sucrose content during harvesting season (November to February of next year). The three varieties were performed obvious characteristics of high and stable yield, high sucrose content, ratoon ability, insect and drought resistance ability, and machinery (compaction) harvesting resistance ability were better than ROC22. Therefore, Guitang 31, 32, 34 were suitable to machinery operation in all field cultivated and harvest in Jinguang state farm and the same type plantation in Guangxi. |
