      桉树是保障我国木材产业稳定的重要树种,在产生巨大社会及经济效益的同时,桉树造林所引发的生态环境问题也不容忽视。本文综述了林地土壤物理性状、养分和微生物群落因桉树造林发生变化的成因,即:桉树自身水分消耗特征、土壤容重和孔隙度的变化、林下植被和枯枝落叶、以及连栽、炼山等人为生产经营活动,是导致桉树造林过程中林地土壤物理性质变化的重要原因;桉树自身对养分的需求量大、连栽、炼山、翻耕、除草、轮伐、以及营造桉树人工混交林、土地利用类型转变是导致桉树造林过程中林地土壤养分降低和升高的重要因素;桉树造林对林地土壤理化性质的影响、凋落物分解和根系分泌物释放、以及炼山、翻耕、间伐、施肥等管理行为,都会直接或者间接地影响林地土壤微生物群落。然后,对桉树造林过程中维护和提升土壤生态系统服务功能的相关措施进行了展望。本文试图为推进我国现阶段桉树产业可持续发展提供理论参考。

      At present, Eucalyptus becomes the most important species for wood industry in China. Eucalyptus plantation has been producing some great social and economic benefits. But the ecological and environmental problems caused by Eucalyptus plantation should not be ignored. This mini-review briefly summaries some effects of Eucalyptus plantation on soil physical properties, nutrients and microbial community as follows: firstly, water consumption characteristics of Eucalyptus, changes of soil bulk density and porosity, undergrowth vegetation and litters, successive planting, controlled burning and other man-made production and operation activities are important reasons for changing soil physical properties within the period of Eucalyptus plantation; secondly, a large demand for nutrients by Eucalyptus, successive planting, controlled burning, ploughing, weeding, rotation cutting, and selecting a good Eucalyptus and other plants intercropping models, land-use changes possibly increase or decrease soil nutrient content in Eucalyptus forest; changes in soil physical and chemical properties due to Eucalyptus plantation, litters decomposition and root exudates release, as well as management behaviors such as controlled burning, ploughing, thinning and fertilization, will directly or indirectly affect soil microbial community. Finally, some measures to maintain and enhance the service function of soil ecosystem during the Eucalyptus plantation are prospected. This mini-review attempts to provide a theoretical basis for promoting the sustainable development of Eucalyptus industry in China.
