The effect of NaCl stress on the growth and physiological characteristics of different rice varieties were studied by using the seedlings of four rice varieties (Wu-shan-feng-zhan, Hua-hang-you-zhan, Yuan-er-you, Gu-you) as materials and determining the root length, fresh height, chlorophyll and malondialdehyde (MDA) content of the different rice seedlings after treatment with 150 mmol/L NaCl. The results showed that the plant height and root growth of different rice varieties was inhibited to a certain extent. The fresh weight and free water contained in the body were decreased. The chlorophyll content was lowered and MDA content were increased after treated with 150 mmol/L NaCl. |
