At the concentration of 1%, mortalities of methanol extracts of Arisaema lobatum Engl. (root), Senecio palmatus Buch.- Ham. ex D. Don (leaves) and Aconitum carmichaeli Debx against Musca domestica vicina Macquart 48 h after the treatment were over 70%, of which the highest was Arisaema lobatum Engl. (root) with a mortality of 100%. Additionally, the mortalities of the housefly caused by Artemisia japonica Thunb. and Zanthoxylum simulans Hance were over 60%. Methanol extracts of Hemerocallis fulva L. and Anemime tomentosa (Maxim) Pei caused mortalities over 70.00% 7 d after the treatment against Tribolium castaneum (Linn.) . The methanol
extraction rates of these plants varied from 0.29% to 14.75% by cold soaking method. |
