Abstract: |
In order to explore the feasibility of using wetland aquatic plants for anaerobic fermentation, Typha orientalis Presl, Hydrocotyle vulgaris, Thalia dealbata, Acorus calamus Linn, Canna indica, Colocasia tonoimo Nakai and Pontederia cordata were explored as fermentation material by batch model at moderate temperature (37℃)in this paper. The results showed that the biogas production rate of the seven aquatic plants were 513.23, 539.09, 577.96, 508.95, 555.05, 629.41, 473.09 mL/g (VS) respectively, which suggested that the aquatic plants can be utilized to be resource for biogas production. The characteristics of the 7 kinds of wetland aquatic plants for biogas
production were studied, which indicated that the hydrolytic acidification of the aquatic plants was the main factor that affected biogas potential. The relationship between lignocellulose and anaerobic biogasification potential (ABP) in this experiment was as follows, the correlation between lignin and ABP (R2=0.067, P>0.05) was very weak, while there was a certain correlation between hemicelluloses and ABP (R2=0.610, P<0.05). |
