Abstract:
      Squalene has important influence on tobacco quality and tobacco flavor. In order to detect whether it contains squalene and its content in tobacco smoke, simulating cigarette burning mechanism, 24 kinds of tobacco smoke extractive were got by specific tobacco pyrolysis device, and qualitatively and quantitatively analyzed the squalene content in each of them by GC/MS in this study. The results showed that squalene existed in Wuhua B2F, Wuhua C3F, Nanxiong BF, Meizhou Dapu Yunyan87 BF, Meizhou Dapu Yunyan87 CF, Lechang K326 B2F, Lechang K326 C3F, Qingyuan Lianzhou B2F, Qingyuan Lianzhou C3F, Zimbabwe LJ0T2 74 #, Henan C3F-B and Yunnan Zhanyi B2F. Among them, the content in Wuhua B2F, Wuhua C3F, Nanxiong BF, meizhou Dapu yunyan87 CF, lechang K326 B2F exceeded 1%. The smoke of Wuhua B2F contained the highest squalene and reached 1.94%. This provided theoretical basis for further screening and cultivating the high-quality tobacco variety.
