The adsorption rate of caffeine and tea polyphenol were used as indexes, the removal of caffeine from tea soap was studied. Resin AL-1 was separated out of ten resins in static adsorption conditions. And the adsorption rate of caffeine were 98.58 %,which was considered the best resin and could be used for the separation and purification of tea caffeine. At the same time, taking the elution rate and adsorption rate of caffeine as indexes for further optimization,the optimization condition for isolation and purification was 0.75 mL/min adsorbing flow rate, and the sample was pH5.2, and the eluent was 100 mL (equal to 3 column volume) of 50 % ethanol.
Under the above condition, the caffeine could be removed with good separating effect. |
