Abstract:
570 strains were isolated from the soil samples collected from muskmelon and vegetable fields in the 11 counties in Hainan province. The strains D1,F1,H3 showed strong antagonistic effect against Fusarium oxysporum by adopting plate confront culture method and promoted the germination rate of musketmelon seeds. The strain F1 was further selected for pot experiment to control musketmelon wilt. When strain F1 culture suspention (108 CFU/mL) was inloculated in musketmelon first, then following pathogen(107 CFU/mL), the control effect could reach to 70.6%. Based on the morphological characteristics and 16S rDNA sequence, strain F1 belonged to Bacillus methylotrophicus.
