After treated with different concentrations of TBTC, the changes of phosphatase, ATPase activity and gonad steroid
hormones of zebra fishes were studied. The result showed that compared with the control group, the activities of phosphatase (AKP and ACP) in the fishes of experimental groups were all significantly increased, but the increased level of AKP and ACP activity in head and viscera homogenate didn’t show strong dose dependent. The activities of Ca2+-ATPase and Na+/K+-ATPase were significantly restrained, the higher the concentration of TBTC, the more obvious the restraining effect. Sex steroid hormones also showed great differences, the content of testosterone in female gonad increased significantly while the content of estradiol in male gonad decreased a lot. The results dicated that there were significant physiological effects and toxicity from TBTC on the organisms, and toxic effects and impact on life individuals were quite extensive, long-term exposured to low doses TBTC would also cause significant physiological toxic effects. |
