Abstract: |
Samples of Porphyra haitanensis were collected from six cultural areas in Fujian province based on different productive
harvesting times in 2011—2012, including fresh algae, processed products, seawater and sediments. Inorganic arsenic content of Porphyra was determined by DDC-Ag method; arsenic in seawater and sediments were determined by Atomic Fluorescence Spectrometry (AFS)method. Results showed that inorganic arsenic contents in P. haitanensis ranked from 0.07 to 0.65 mg/kg which met the national regulation about arsenic residue in seaweed. This value decreased in the process of harvesting time. Arsenic content in water (0.0010~0.0027 mg/L) indicated a positive correlation with that in P. haitanensis; correlation between arsenic content in P. haitanensis and in sediments (10.0023~31.9163 滋g/g) was not obvious. This study showed that both the contents of inorganic arsenic in P. haitanensis samples and the water were all lower than the limited requirements in national standards. |
