Abstract:
      Physicochemical properties and microbial population of silkworm paeces of 2 ~5 instar silkworm were detected and analysed with biochemisty and microbiology techniques. Moister content of 2~5 instar silkworm paeces were 62%~66% and pH were neutrality. Content of organic matter and total nitrogen in large silkworm paecese were higher than those in small ones, while the content of calcium, magecium, potasscium and trace element (iron, manganese, copper, zinc) were lower than those in small ones. The content of plumbum, chromium and mercury in small instar (2~3 instar) silkworm paeces were higher than thoese in large ones. There were no obvious difference in microorganism population and qulity in different period silkworm paeces. The number of microorganism was most, followed by actinomycetes, fungi at least.
