| 2008-2011, investigation was conducted to study on resistance of 27 fresh corn inbred lines to southern leaf blight of
corn, corn stalk rot and sheath blight under field condition. Meanwhile, yield of different hybrid combinations was analyzed. Results indicated that there was significant difference for resistance between inbred lines. Two sweet corn inbred lines (HJT1211) and three waxy corn inbred lines (YZ22, WN48, FN7, 30m) showed the strongest resistance, which were resistant to the three diseases. It also found that four of fourteen hybrid combinations were resistant to southern leaf blight of corn, corn stalk rot and sheath blight. In addition, yield was significantly different between different hybrid combinations, with that of sweet corn combination “Z132-2xHJT1211”was the highest. |
