Abstract:
      We introduced nine fresh red pepper varieties from AVRDC -The World Vegetable Center. Variety comparison experiments of nine fresh red pepper varieties were made in autumn of 2009, with Yuejiao 3 and Hongfeng 404 in comparison. The results showed that: ICPN18-06 was perfect, first-flowering dates, time of begining to bear fruit and early yield were second only to Yuejiao3. Its early yield was 16 290.6 kg/hm2, compared to Hongfeng 404 production increased to reach extremely obviously, the increased range respectively is 47.52%. Its final yield was 44 316.3 kg/hm2, compared to Yuejiao 3 production didn't increase to reach extremely obviously, the increased range respectively is 13.1%. But compared to Hongfeng 404 its production increaseed to reach extremely obviously, the increased range respectively was 31.82%. ICPN18-06 are bright red, high pesticide resistance, beautiful appearance. If ICPN18-06 would be excepted, that can be popularized.
