The experiment was to study the feasibility of using wheat supplemented with NSP enzyme instead of corn and the optimal
quantity of enzyme in the diet of growing pigs. 120 pigs (Duroc*Landrace*Yorkshire) with about 30 kg body weight were randomly assigned into 4 groups, 3 replications each group, 10 pigs each replication. The control group was fed corn-basic diet. Group Ⅰ, Ⅱand Ⅲas trial groups were fed wheat-based diet with 0.02%, 0.04%, 0.06% NSP enzyme respectively. The period of trial was 30d with 7d of pretrial. The results showed that the trial group Ⅱ was best one. Compared with the control group, the average daily gain increased by 3.25%,feed gain ratio decreasing by 1.59%(P<0.05). The digestibility of E, DM, CP, CE, CF increased by 1.12%, 1.89%, 1.15%, 1.85%(P<0.05), 17.57%(P<0.05). Conclusion: using wheat with 0.04% NSP enzyme instead of corn could improve performance and dietary nutrient digestibility in growing pigs. |
