| Antifungal activity of endophytic bacterium AmS2 strain and its methanol extract against 6 pathogenic fungi of plant such
as Phytophthora capsici and Fusarium oxysporum f.sp. cubense was tested in laboratory. The results showed that the strain AmS2 showed high antifungal activity against 6 different kinds of the pathogenic fungi, the hypha treated with strain AmS2 withered and deformed seriously. It was shown on PDA plates that the methanol extract had high inhibitory effect on the growth of the fungi, of which the activity on Colletotrichum gloeosporioides was the highest with EC50 and EC95 being only 0.8923 mg/mL and 2.4939 mg/mL respectively. |
