15 candidate miRNAs in Salvia miltiorrhiza seedlings were studied after the herbs treated with 10% PEG6000 for 6 h.The results showed that the expression levels of the 11 miRNAs in drought treated seedlings were up-regulated in comparison with the control seedlings, in which miR157, miR166, miR319, miR774, miR894, miR2911 and miR3626 were up -regulated significantly. However, the expression levels of miR159, miR167, miR172 and miR408 were down-regulated. The analysis on the target genes of these miRNAs revealed that these miRNAs primarily participated in the plant metabolism , signal transduction and growing development, and inferred that miR169 and miR3462 had taken part in the process of drought stress. |
