A 8-week feeding trial with 4 practical diets at equal nitrogen and caloric basis was conducted to evaluate the effects
of China rapeseed meal replaced by Indian rapeseed meal on growth performance and plasma biochemical indexes of juvenile tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus ± O.aureus). A total of 300 fish with the initial body weight of 2.48 (±0.05) g were randomly divided into 4 groups, the group G0 was the control group (the amount of China rapeseed meal was 35%), while groups G50, G75 and G100 were trial groups fed with 50%, 75% and 100% Indian rapeseed meal replacing the China rapeseed meal, adding 0.1% feed attractant DMPT respectively. The results showed as follows: the growth performance of tilapia juveniles was decreased significantly and the impact aggravated with increasing the level of India rapeseed meal replace China rapeseed meal. There was no significant effects on body conventional components and serum indexes of the juvenile tilapia in the experiment of China rapeseed meal replaced by Indian rapeseed meal. The ratio of the India rapeseed meal in juvenile tilapia does not exceed 50%, means the usage of Indian rapeseed meal being under 17.5%. |
