The pollution in soils has been aroused people爷s great concerns in recent years, especially the heavy metals. In these
heavy metals, cadmium has serious bioavailability. The bioavailability of cadmium is mainly dependent on its speciation in soils. Research progress of the phytotoxicity and biotoxicity of cadmium in soils, distribution pattern of cadmium and influence of these effect factors such as the pH value of soil and rhizosphere effect, etc., the relationship between the existing form and the bioavailability and their effect factors were summarized in this paper. At the same time, some future research directions such as the analysis methods for form of cadmium and biology effectiveness are forecasted briefly. |
