| Egg breaker separator, a newly developed egg breaking and separating machine, is used for separating egg
white and yolk rapidly. To resolve the problem that it is diffcult to remove the scattered yellow eggs, methods to inspect
scattered yolk eggs based on image processing were proposed. The images obtained from the production line were gotten by
industrial camera, then cut out the target area from the source image target area. Yolk area was selected as the sample
points. Image segmentation was processed in RGB vector space, then found out the egg yolk region in the images, and
calculated the area yolk region to determine whether the eggs were scattered. The identification ratio was 96.67%. Image
recognition method can quickly identify scattered yolk eggs, can be applied in production practice instead of human eyes. |
