An endophytic fungus BWL6007 from Cephalotaxus hainanensis Li. was identified by the traditional morphological identification method. The antimicrobial activities of the fermentation broth at different fermentation time of the strain BWL6007 were determined using Staphylococcus aureus, Bacillus subtilis, Escherichia coli, Rhizoctonia solani,Sclerotinia sclerotiorum, Fusarium oxysporum f.sp. cubense, Fusarium oxysporum f.sp.cubense FJAT -370 as the test microorganisms, and also the antimicrobial activities of extracts of various solvents were determined. The results showed that the fungus was identified as Bionectria sp., which was first time isolated from C. hainanensis Li.; the best fermentation time was 11 d; and the antimicrobial active ingredients were in ethylacetate extracts. |
