Abstract:
The antimicrobial activity of 10 endophytic fungi isolated from traditional Chinese medicinal plant Paris polyphylla Smith var. yunnanensis (Franch.) Hand. -Mazz. were detected by the method of Filter method test with Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli and Enterobacter aerogenes as indicator microorganisms. The results showed that the ethanol extracts of three isolated entophytic fungi strains had no antibiotic activity, while the other 7 strains had antibiotic activity against S. aureus. Especially the stain YL0401 obviously exhibited strongest antibiotic activity against S. aureus, the inhibition zones diameter was 30.7 mm and the antibiotic effect was 72.7%.Based on the morphological characters and ITS-rDNA sequence analysis袁the endophytic fungi strain YL0401 was identified as Gliomastix murorum
