The experiment was conducted to study the effects of the combined use of acidifier and probiotics combinations on serum biochemical indices of broilers. One hundred and sixty one -day -old healthy Kebao 500 broilers were randomly allocated to 4 experimental groups with 4 replicates of 10 broilers each. Group A as control was fed the basal diet. Group B,C and D as three trial groups were fed the basal diet supplemented with 0.1%, 0.3% and 0.5% combinations of acidifier and probiotics. The test lasted 42 days. The results showed that serum total protein, albumin, total cholesterol and s-transferase enzymes were increased different degrees and urea nitrogen, malondialdehyde, glutamic-pyruvic transaminase and glutamate-oxaloacetate transaminase were decreased different degrees by added acids and probiotics composite additive. The serum glutamic-pyruvic transaminase at the age of 42 days was significantly decreased (P<0.05 by added 0.1% , serum albumin at the age of 42 days and total cholesterol at the age of 14 days were significantly increased (P<0.05)and urea nitrogen and malondialdehyde at the age of 42 days were significantly decreased (P<0.05)by added 0.3%,serum glutamate-oxaloacetate transaminase at the age of 14 days and urea nitrogen and malondialdehyde at the age of 42 days were significantly decreased渊P<0.05冤by added 0.5%. The results indicated the mechanism of combinations of acidifier and probiotics promoting growth performance in broilers might through improve protein synthesis and increase antioxidant ability and the optimal supplementation of compound acidifier was 0.3%. |
