| Based on introduction of new variety American No.1 from the Caribbean, introduction experiment and its cultivation was carried out for investigating studies on agronomic traits, yield traits, life cycle and resistance to environment or diseases. The results showed that the okra American No.1 was the variety of late maturity, big fruit, strong resistance to environment and diseases with high yield and good adaptability. There it had a certain application and dissemination value in Shanwei city etc., the South Subtropical Area. |
