Abstract:
      In order to know the role of fow2 gene in the invasion process of banana by the Fusarium oxysporum f. sp.Cubense(Foc),and compare the differences of fow2 gene between the Foc1 and Foc 4, the two fow2 genes were amplified by Polymerase Chain Reaction and Reverse Transcription Polymerase Chain Reaction, then the am-plification products were sequenced, their biological data were analysied. The sequencing result revealed that the full length gene of fow2 genes from Foc1 and Foc4 were 2 439 bp, 2 440 bp and the open reading frames were 1 992 bp, 1 986 bp in length. The two fow2 genes both included 5 introns and 6 exons, had no signal peptide and no transmembrane domain, but the PROSITE results showed that there were several diffrences between them.
