Compared with other shellfish, bay scallops'physiological structure is more specifically, so scallop processing is more difficult. In china, scallop processing is mainly dominated by hand-splitting, so realization of automated splitting is a matter of urgency. On the basis of Bay Scallop physiology structure analysis, adductor splitting technology and equipment is analyzed systematically. Comparison of existing splitting methods, we can make a reasonable prediction of the development trend of adductor-splitting apparatus. |
