The physicochemical property of soil in the plantation of multi-layer forest for Masson pine(Pinus massoniana) and Cassia bark (Cinnamomum cassia) and single-layer forest for Masson pine were determined and analyzed, and the site effect of multi-layer forest was discussed. The result showed that the soil bulk density in multi-layer Masson pine plantation forests was lower than that of singlelayer forest, but the soil total porosity, capillary porosity, non-capillary porosity and water retention capacity were all higher than those of single-layer forest. The soil organic matter, total N, total P, total K, hydrolysis N, available K, exchange able Ca2+, exchangeable Mg2+ of multi-layers forest were more than that of single-layer forest. Obviously, establishing the plantation of multi-layer forest for Masson pine and Cassia bark can effectively improve soil structure, improve soil fertility, and play an important role in the maintenance of Masson pine plantation. |
