| In order to make use of Eupatorium adenophorum comprehensively, the anti -TMV activity of E. adenophorum was screened for the first time. The anti-TMV activity of different extracts of E. adenophorum was studied by half-leaf method. The results revealed that the extracts of root, stem, leaf and flower all showed anti-TMV activity in some degree. The anti-TMV activity of root, stem and leaf extracts was strong, when the concentration of root, stem and leaf extracts was 10 mg/mL, they showed moderate activity with the inhibition rate about 50%. Relatively, the anti-TMV activity of flower extract was weak. The present works will provide a base for the further exploration of the invasive plant E. adenophorum comprehensively. |
