Based on the field survey data of vegetation quardat, the morphorlogical characteristics of three nature populations of Disanthus cercidifolius var. longipes at different altitude (low, middle, and high) in Dadongshan, Nanling Mountain and one recovery population at burned area are compared. Results showe that the morphological characteristics of three natural populations are basically the same, especially for richness of arbor species and coverage of community. There are highest total cluster for population at middle altitude, with a lowest mean individuals of each cluster. With increasing of altitude, all the total individuals and desity decrease, while the ratios of arbor individuals to total individuals, mean height, and mean basal diameter increase. For five mathematic functions (index, linearity, logarithm, multinomial, and power), the correlative coefficients of basal diameter and breast height diameter, basal diameter and height of three natual population all reach a very significant level. The orders of correlative coefficients for basal diameter and breast height diameter are all multinomial>linearity>index>power>logarithm. For correlative coefficients of basal diameter and height, the linearity and index are all the lowest. Because of the short recovery time, almost all the morphorlogical indexes of the population at burned area are significant lower than that of the three natural populations. |
