Abstract:
Eight common buckwheat varieties were planted at 19 different locations across the country, and then their kernel dietary fiber content were determined with enzymatic-gravimetric method, so as to analyse the variations of common buckwheat dietary fiber contents among different varieties and among different places and analyze their sensitivity to basic ecological factors. The results showed that the variation ranges of total dietary fiber (TDF) content, non-water-soluble dietary fiber (NSDF) content, and water-soluble dietary fiber(WSDF) content in the experimental common buckwheat kernels are 13.91%~28.32%,8.76%~23.34%, and 0.63%~9.72%, respectively, with the average of 19.65%, 14.94%, and 4.71%, respectively. There are significant differences of the TDF content among different common buckwheat varieties and among different places, respectively. There exist significant differences of the NSDF content among different places and non-significant variations among different varieties. As for WSDF content, however, there are significant differences among common buckwheat varieties and non-significant variations among different locations. Scott-Knott clustering analysis showed that there are three groups of varieties and four groups of places in accordance with the TDF content, four groups of places in accordance with the NSDF content, three groups of varieties in accordance with the WSDF content. Correlation analysis indicated that dietary fiber content has no significant correlations with altitude and mean temperature in the growth period. Latitude is significantly associated with TDF(r=0.637**), NSDF(r=0.651**) of Yuqiao-4, respectively, indicating that Yuqiao-4 has higher sensibility to latitude than the others.
