During the "Eleventh Five-Year"，Guangdong has achieved good results in the breeding, introduction and promotion of new varieties,independent research and development, introduction and promotion of new technologies, and so on. It has played a positive role in promoting effective for rural economic development, agricultural efficiency and farmers' income, effective in promoting the development of agriculture and rural economy in Guangdong province.
