| Opuntia dillenii Haw. polysaccharides were extracted by hot water, then purified by Sevage method to study the antioxidant activities of Opuntia dillenii Haw. Polysaccharides, which were measured by several experiments, including the scavenging ability of Opuntia dillenii Haw. polysaccharides on DPPH., NO2- and the reduction ability. The results showed that the scavenging abilities of DPPH.and NO2-were strong, and that Opuntia dillenii Haw. polysaccharides had some reduction activity. Opuntia dillenii Haw. polysaccharides had some antioxidant activity but the antioxidant activity needed further research, utilization and exploitation. |
