Abstract:
The extraction of Alternanthera philoxeroides was extracted, Lolium perenne Linn., Imperata cylindrica (L.) Raeusch., Festuca elata Keng ex E. Alexeev were used as experimental materials, the antioxidant system including the activities of POD, SOD,APX, as well as the content of malondialdehyde (MDA) and soluble sugar were measured to study the mechanism of allelopathic properties of Alternanthera philoxeroides. The results showed that the change of POD and SOD in root were coincidence with that in leaf, the POD in Imperata cylindrica and Festuca eleta Keng ex E. Alexeev were increased when treatment with extraction when compared with the control, while the POD in Lolium perenne Linn. were decreased; the SOD in Festuca elata Keng ex E. Alexeev and Lolium perenne Linn.were increased, while decreased in Imperata cylindrica (L.) Raeusch.. The APX in root of three plant were increased, while it was decreased in leaf. The content of MDA in Festuca elata Keng ex E. Alexeev have increased in some degree, the content in Festuca elata Keng ex E. Alexeev and Lolium perenne Linn. were increased with the concentration of extraction, but they were still lower than that in the control. The content of soluble sugar in all the plants were very lower exception less treatment, but all of the results showed that extraction did not cause obvious increasement of MDA and soluble sugar of three forage plant seedlings, indicating that the extraction has no stress on the growth of forage plants.
