Abstract:
      Meizhou city is the world's largest Hakka settlements and the world center of Hakka culture. Hakka culture carries the hopes and pursuit of Hakka people, showing the synthesis results of Hakka community from matter to spirit, from economy to culture. The site selection and planning of Hakka settlements, Round-Dragon Houses'design, creating and its application to the landscape elements,which highlight the obvious Meizhou Hakka culture landscape ecological characteristics and reflect the strong Hakka cultural characteristics and meaning, make a positive contribution to the development of human living culture and landscape culture. Based on the analysis of the Hakka culture and traditional settlement characteristic, the paper proposes some countermeasures on the fusion development of the Meizhou gardens and Hakka culture.
