Heavy metals pollution in roadside soils and source identification |

Abstract: |
Three soil sections of Lian -Huo expressway were studied in Zhongmou county. The aim was to study diffusion characteristics of different heavy metal elements, the degree of soil heavy metal pollution and source identification to make some proposals to soil remediation and Pollution-free agricultural products base. Some experiments were taken to examine soil heavy metals by national standard methods. The software of SPSS10.0 and CorelDWAW12 were used for analysing data and illustrating results. Results showed that roadside soil had been polluted inⅡand ⅢPollution degrees. The dispersion capacity of each metal was different to each other. The effect was different of each plant barrier in prevention adjacent soil from pollution. Soil parent material and agricultural activities was the largest contribution on Zn, Cu and Cr content of soil. Application of organic manure was significant for cumulative effect of Cu. Pb and Cd was mainly from the expressway. |
