Abstract:
      Heavy metal contamination has become an important environmental hazard in recent years. Pollution assessment and source analysis of 8 heavy metals in four typical agricultural lands of Shenyang (northwest of China) was carried out in this study. The result indicated: agricultural lands soil subjected to different levels of heavy metal pollution, the pollution extent is Pb>Hg>Zn>Ni=Cu> As>Cd>Cr. The potential risk of heavy metals is a prominent problem for Hg and Cd. Pollution sources related to industrial production and human activities, with a main influence factor transportation.
