Abstract:
      By selecting apple orchards, we conducted comparative experiments to evaluate the effects of a microbial organic -inorganic compound fertilizer (experiment group) and conventional inorganic fertilizer (control group) on the the yield and quality of Fuji apple cultivated in Weibei dry plateau. The results showed that the microbial organic-inorganic compound fertilizer developed by Shaanxi Institute of Microbiology increased yield per 667 m2 of Fuji apple, the increasement of yield ranged from 3.06% to 28.82%. Average weight was 233.88 g per apple, increased by 15.83%. Average commodity fruit rate was 80.80% with 8.67% increasement. Average saccharine degree was 13.52% with 4.79% increasement, and average firmness was 9.61 kg/cm2 with 3.58% increasement. This study validated that the microbial organic-inorganic compound fertilizer had a significant effect on improvement of yield and quality of Fuji apple.
