Abstract:
      The survival rate, tillering rate, plant height, growth of root system and rooting cost of in vitro rooting and ex vitro rootingof sugarcane(ROC22)microshoots which were transplanted in green house were studied. The result showed that the two rooting methods of microshoots had its own advantages respectively. The traditional in vitro rooting was beneficial to rooting of microshoots, and could enhance rooting rate, growth, transplant survival rate and quality of seedling. However, ex vitro rooting of microshoots was propitious to reduce cost of production, enhance number of microshoots, reduce time of production cycle.
