Abstract:
In order to understand effects of banana Fusarium wilt on banana seedling growth, 3 kinds of pathogen infection ways (germcarrying soil, germ-carrying seedling, germ-carrying and germ-carrying seedling) and 3 kinds of bacteria concentration (10, 103, 106 CFU/mL)were designed to study effects of Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. cubense 4 (FOC4) on stalk width, plant height, leaves length and width at banana seedling period. Data was analyzed statistically. The results showed that after 64 days, stalk width, plant height, leaves length and width of banana seedling in experimental groups were significantly different fromthose in control group. Within certain concentration, the growth of stalk width, plant height, leaves length and width of banana seedling slowed down even stopped with the density of FOC4 increasing. Inoculation of 10 CFU/mL FOC4 could cause banana Fusarium wilt. 90%of banana seedlings' leaves appeared deformity when infectted by FOC4.
