To study the relation among blood biochemical traits, meat quality and body measurements traits of Leizhou black duck, 12 300-day-old Leizhou black ducks ( 6, 6) were randomly selected for analysis. The results showed that, GPT and width of pelvis had a significant positive correlation (P<0.05), LDH with the content of crude protein in muscle and the length from beak to hip had a extremely significant correlation(P<0.01), LDH with the cooking lose rate and chest width had a significant correlation(P<0.05), the pelvis width with the muscle pH and chest width had a significant positive correlation (P<0.05), the length from beak to hip with the chest width and pelvis width had a extremely significant positive correlation (P<0.01). The results of canonical correlation analysis showed that the first canonical correlation coefficient between blood biochemical traits and body measurements traits (0.874) was significant and expressed 81.2% of total correlation. The first canonical correlation coefficients between blood biochemical traits and meat quality (0.901), as well as between body measurements traits and meat quality (0.901)were significant, which constituted 90.6% and 75.4% of total correlation, respectively. The analysis indicated that main traits for the canonical correlation coefficients were the LDH, chest width, length from beak to hip, muscle pH and contents of crude protein in muscle, the blood biochemical traits and meat quality had the biggest correlation. |
