Analysis on the yielding ability, adaptability, stabilityof new potato variety Bishu No.5 |

Abstract: |
To comprehensively understand the performance of Bishu No.5, a new potato variety, the yielding ability,adaptability and stability of Bishu No.5 was analyzed by using the data from the regional and productive test of new potato variety in Guizhou Province, which was conducted in 2010要2011 and 2011 respectively. The results showed that: the yield of Bishu No.5 was 1 697.95 kg per 667 m2 in the regional test, increased by 12.73% over the contrast (Mila) and ranked first on the 11 testing varieties in the different ecological elevation areas from 800 meters to 2 300 meters; Francis variation coefficient was just 5.84%, and the adaptability (94.44%) was the highest; the yield of Bishu No.5 also performed very well in the productive test, ranked first in the 4 testing varieties and reached to a significant differences level among the other testing varieties. |
