Abstract:
      Fruit quality and pesticides residue of "Sizhou" pomelo (Citrus grandis) from three commercial orchards in Cengong county, Guizhou province was investigated and analyzed. The results showed that, the single fruit weight, contents of reducing sugar and Vitamin C in pulp and color value in pericarp had significant differences among fruits from the three orchards,but the other parameters such as index of fruit shape, thickness of pericarp, edible rate, contents of flavonoid and total phenolics in pericarp, contents of total soluble solid and total acidity in pulp were similar. The residues of 17 pesticides including luxury heavy metals, organophosphorus and pyrethroids pesticides in pulp of pomelo fruits were not above the standard. Sizhou pomelo fruit in three orchards' were in line with the standards of green fruit or pollution-free fruit.
