The F1 individual plant and coventional rice Jinchaosimiao multiply hybridized to obtain late rice in 2002. Weakly photosensitive hybrid indica rice Youyou7148 was obtained by of the individual plant obtained above and the sterile line Yuan A bred by The Southern China Botanical Garden, afer pedigree breeding of 5 generation. It is a rice with stable production and resistance to blast. It was registered by Guangdong Provincial Crop Variety Appraisal Committee in January, 2012.
