Abstract:
      In order to find a new method for preventing plants from the harm of UV-B radiation, under the condition of enhancement of UV-B radiation, the protection effects of Aloe anthraquinones on growth and physiological indices of soybean were investigated. The results showed that the plant height, leaf area and content of photosynthetic pigment of the leaves decreased respectively, while the content of MDA increased under the condition of enhancement of UV-B radiation.Aloe anthraquinones could prevent the decrease of biomass and the content of photosynthetic pigment effectively, reduce the production of MDA. While, under the condition of enhancement of UV-B radiation, waxy substance on epidermal cells increased and the stomas had obvious subsidence. After spraying Aloe anthraquinones, the structure and shape of cells were similar to that in natural light. The waxy substance were slightly increased and stomas subsidence alleviated.
