181 topsoil samples from Nanxiong tobacco growing area were collected and analyzed in order to understand
soil nutrient status and promote the sustainable development of full aroma-type tobacco in Nanxiong. The results showed that
the range of pH value was 4.30~8.03 and the proportions within the right scope of purple soil, Ox liver field, white sand field,
hemp sand field respectively were 49.46%, 80%, 35.78% and 22.08%. The pH value of purple soil was relatively higher, while
those of white sand field and hemp sand field were relatively lower. Content of organic matter, total N and available N was very
low in purple soil which was most suitable for N management, while those of other three soil types were relatively higher, they
were needed to control N. Content of total P and total K was mostly medium to rich besides samples from white sand field and
hemp sand field. Content of available P was suitable in all soil types. Content of available K was mostly low. Except for most of
purple soil was rich in available K, other three soil types all had different level of potassium deficiency phenomenon, so it was
needed to supply potassium in practice. |
