We conducted fishery survey in northern South Sea in August 2012 to investigate the composition of shrimp
and crab of shrimp beam trawl fisheries. The composition, biological characteristic and ratio of the unmatured were
analyzed. The results indicated that there were 71 species, in which there were 15 species of shrimp and crab, accounting
for 82.34% to the total output. The dominant species of shrimp were Marsupenaeus japonicus, Metapenaeus ensis, M.
affinis and M. joyneri; the dominant species of crab were Portunus sanguinolentus, P. trituberculatus and P. pelagicus; the
ratio of unmatured M. ensis was 73.36%, and that ratio of P. trituberculatus was 78.79%. Finally, the measures to rationally
use the shrimp and crab resources were discussed. |
