In the pot experiment, the Jatropha curcas cultivar FD -8 was used to investigate the effects of three
habitats on seedling annual growth, which included seedling growth in open field (T1), woods land (T2) and canopy (T3).
Results showed that cotyledon burns in autumn and chilling damage in winter of T1 were significantly more than T2, while
the appearances didn爷t emerge in T3. In spring, the new buds appeared earliestly in T3, while T2 and T1 were over time in
order. In the autumn and summer, T2 obviously promoted seedling synthetical growth and increased seedling quality index,
but T3 significantly decreased seedling synthetica quality. In this study, the J. curcas planted in woods land promoted the
seedling organs synthetical growth and synthetica quality. |
