The aim was to study the genetic development of branching mutant of rice. The Shuhui527 branching mutant
heterozygote (Shuhui527 chemically induced, M3 generation of stable together)袁reciprocally crossed with normal branching
Luhui17, R30. By the investigation and chi-square test, in the F1 generation, branching mutant had recessive heredity. In the F2
segregating population, the number of rice branching mutant and wild-type plants met Mendel's single-genetic laws. Therefore, it
confirmed that the branching mutant of rice were controlled by a single autosomal recessive gene. |
